"Every Dot Counts" (the "App") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the App handles and how it is used.

Overview

The App is a casual puzzle game that works without an account. We do not operate our own servers: the App never sends any information to servers run by us. The only information that leaves your device is the analytics and advertising data described below, which is handled by Google's SDKs.

We do not collect information that directly identifies you, such as your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location. There is no account registration.

Information stored on your device

The following information is stored only on your device to make the game work. It is never sent off the device.

• Game progress and records (best score, highest level reached, streaks, number of games played)
• A snapshot of your run in progress, so you can continue where you left off
• First-launch and last-played timestamps
• Ad-frequency state (used to limit how often interstitial ads can appear)

Analytics

To understand how the App is used in aggregate and to improve it, the App uses Google Analytics for Firebase. The information collected includes:

• App usage events (for example, session starts and gameplay/ad-related events)
• Aggregate, approximate ad-revenue events
• General device information (such as device model, OS version, language, and coarse, IP-based region) and app-instance identifiers generated by the SDK

This information is collected and handled by Google in accordance with the Firebase privacy documentation (https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy) and the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). We use it only in aggregate; we cannot and do not use it to identify you personally.

Advertising and tracking

The App displays ads via Google AdMob (interstitial ads, and optional rewarded ads that you choose to watch, for example to continue a run). To deliver and measure ads, the ad SDK may obtain and use information such as the advertising identifier. This information is handled by Google and the parties involved in ad delivery in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

• On iOS, we ask for tracking permission in accordance with App Tracking Transparency. Ads are shown even if you decline, but they will not be personalized for you.
• In the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK, and similar regions, we obtain consent for ads in accordance with consent management (Google User Messaging Platform).
• The App is configured for general (non-child-directed) ad delivery.

Retention period

Information stored on your device remains there until you delete the App (or reset it via your OS settings). Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics for Firebase in accordance with its retention settings and then deleted or aggregated; we cannot link it to an identifiable person at any point.

Children

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the version number and revision date and announce it on this page. For significant changes, we will also notify you within the App. The changes for each version are listed in the revision history at the end.
